Puff
Approx 4 1/2 years old

From her foster family….
I’ve had a few cats in my life, but I’ve honestly never had one as affectionate as Puff.
She is an exceptionally sweet and gentle cat.
After the first evening of hiding in the closet, she eventually came out on her own and since then has trusted me completely. She follows me from room to room, and wants to be near me, but
she’s not clingy, she’s quite independent. She’s well-mannered.
She does not scratch the furniture, but loves her tall cat tree scratching post. She’s quite content to sit on top of it and look out the window or nap. She doesn’t use her cat bed—she would much rather sleep beside you.
As soon as she sees me getting ready for sleep, she’s on the bed waiting. Then she gives me a few nose kisses (very cold wet nose!) but once that’s done, she settles in and doesn’t tear around at night making noise. She often gently reaches over with a paw to pat my arm or face.
Unlike most cats I’ve known, she doesn’t seem crazy for food. She doesn’t rub up to you the minute you’re in the kitchen. She seems to prefer dry cat food, She doesn’t even touch the wet food.
She is frightened by loud noises like the coffee grinder, vacuum cleaner etc.
She seems very patient about being on her own if I go out for awhile.
