Prevent A Litter Society: Our Mission, Our Passion
At the core of our commitment lies the well-being of cats. Our name, Prevent A Litter Society (P.A.L.S), encapsulates our mission and has guided our actions since 2007. In this time, we've provided rescue and care to thousands of cats and kittens in need.
The heartbeat of our efforts is the Trap-Neuter-Return Program, focused on aiding cats and kittens born outdoors in the Comox Valley, Canada BC. This initiative, alongside our commitment to preventing unwanted litters, defines our approach to feline rescue.
Our journey is community-fueled, sustained largely by generous donations. Thanks to this support, our programs have expanded significantly. From the Adopt-a-PAL scheme and our Foster Home Program to the unique Semi-Social Barn Cat Re-homing, every initiative we undertake is a step towards better feline welfare. The Socialization Program, Surrenders, and The Ruby Fund further illustrate the breadth of our commitment.
